Joy: My only friend's name is Linda. She is my heigh-tour and we spend a lot of time together. I tell her all about myself. Sometimes wefall out with her over bittle things but in a day or two we are good friends again. There are a lot of things that we both like - music, shopping,reading books about animals ... But most of all we like playing with our pets! I find it realy important that you have one person in your life that you can be absolutely yourself with. I feel that I can always turn to her if I can upset. A lot of friends take a lot of time. We are two and we are happy.
Ellen: I haven't got a brother or a sister. My best friend Nancy lives in another city now and there is no one of my age I could make friends with. I haven't got a dog or a cat,either. Of cource,I mix with my classmates at school. But classmates and true friends are not one and the same thing. With a friend you can share all your problems and secrets. It's important to have anyone who can turn to for help or advice. I'm sure that people cannot do without friends.

Радость: Мой единственный друг, его зовут Линда. Она моя высота-тур " и " мы тратим много времени вместе. Я рассказал ей все о себе. Я чувствую, что я всегда могу обратиться к ней, если я могу огорчить. Много друзей занять много времени. Нас двое, и мы счастливы.
Элен: у меня нет брата или сестры. Моя лучшая подруга Нэнси живет в другом городе, и уже нет ни одного моего возраста, я мог бы подружиться с. У меня нет с собой собаку или кошку,либо. Конечно,я смешиваю со своими одноклассниками в школе. Но одноклассники и истинные друзья-это не одно и то же. С другом можно поделиться всеми своими проблемами и секретами. Важно иметь никого, кто мог бы обратиться за помощью или Советом. Я уверен, что люди не могут обойтись без друзей.

in Scotland, the New year's Eve celebration is called Hogmanay which means 'new morning' in Celtic.It is surely the most exciting celebration of the year.Preparations for the celebration start early on December 31st. People clean their houses and throw out old unwanted things. They also bake special shortbread biscuit and rich fruit cake called 'Black Bun',to share with family and friends on the big day.on the night of Hogmanay there are live concerts and fabulous carnivals in the streets of all Scottish towns. A lot of excited people get dressed up in colourful costumes. In some cities there is also a long trochlight procession through the street that crowds watch excitedly. As soon as the bells chime twelve, everyone kisses and heartily wishes each other a Happy New Year. Then people join hands and proudly sing the traditional song 'Auld Lang Syne'. After that, there is a stunning fireworks display which is the icing on the cake. On 1st January people visit friends and neighbours to wish them luck for the New Year. Hogmanay is certainly a great celebration. People feel happy to be with friends and family and look forward to a good year full of success.
