You can hear music everywhere, at school, in the street, at home... People love music, somebody love relaxing ones, somebody like rock. But it is anyway music. There are some kinds of people who can listen to music all the time. Probably I'm one of them.
There are a lot of music janz, Rock, pop, rap, folk music etc. And there are people who like all kinds of music. That people are called - melomans. Any kind of music is beautiful. For example folk music was really popular in 19th century. And you still can hear this kind of music on the street in at celebration time. Folk music is a music which you can hear only on your country.
People who sing music - singers. So, I have a favourite singer. His name is Mick Jagger. I love his moves, his music. His music really can show emotions the same way that we do. But he sings. His music sounds like a symphony for me. I will like him forever and always.

My Company
I am Alexander Smith. I work as a Sales Manager in Newtech company. It was
established in 1982, more than 18 years ago. It is a Russian company. We specialise
in producing process equipment for food industry. It consist of 8 departments:
Production, sales, Advertising, Accounting, Financing, Export, Personnel, Research
and Development. The last one is newly arranged. 18 per cent of our budget goes to
research and development. Newtech is a corporation. It’s management is a Meeting
of Shareholders and a Board of Directors. Mr. Klincov is a Managing Director of
the company. The number of employees is about seven hundred people. The head
office is in Volgograd. It makes general policy decisions, and the local managers
look after the daily business in branches. It has important branches in Samara and
Saratov. They are independent. Three factories of the company are also located in
Volgograd, Saratov, Samara. Production of our company is well-made and known
in the world. It corresponds to the highest technical level and standards existing in
the world. Currently, we the tenth largest Russian equipment manufacturer with an
annual turnover of 100 roubles. In 1992 we started an export division and exports
new account for 10 per cent of our turnover. The company is doing well. Sales and
profits are rising. Over the next five years we project a much greater increase in our
export business. In order to achieve this growth we are looking for ways of
exporting to Europe and planning a number of key acquisitions there.

There is at least one radio station in every country in the world, and altogether there are more than 25,000 stations all over the world. Radio stations compete with one another.
Radio programmes vary from country to country. But in all countries, programmes primarily provide information and entertainment. Programmes that provide information include news and current affairs, live broadcasts of sports events, weather forecasts, talk shows. Many talk shows allow listeners to take part in the programme by telephoning the radio station to ask questions or give their opinions about the topic. Such programmes are sometimes called phone-ins.
In most countries up to 90 percent of all programmes are designed for entertainment. Music is a popular kind of radio entertainment. Most music stations specialize in one kind of music, such as pop, classical, jazz or folk music. Some stations broadcast several kinds of music. There are also comedy shows and plays performed «live» or recorded in the studio by actors.
A major reason for the widespread use of radios is their portability, which means the ability to be carried around easily. People listen to the radios almost everywhere — at home, in parks, at beaches and picnics, while driving a car, and even while walking along the street.
