Listen, read and answer the question: Why is Robin sad?

Robin's birthday

Misha: Why are you sad, Robin?
Robin: I am homesick. It is my birthday today.
Misha: Great! How do you celebrate your birthday at home?
Robin: In the morning my dad comes with presents. He sings a birthday song and gives me a magic birthday card.
Then I fly to Loch Ness and we play with Nessie. She gives me her present.
Misha: What does she give you?
Robin: A goldfish. It grants three wishes. After that I get ready for a big party.
Misha: How many friends do you invite?
Robin: Normally I have 200 guests.
Misha: Wow! Where do you celebrate?
Robin: We sit in our magic garden. Father decorates trees and lights candles. My granny Muriel comes from her castle Cawder. We play games, sing songs and eat a big cake. My granny makes it for me every year. The cake is always yummy.

Will married Anne Hathaway in November, and she came to live in Henley Street.John Shakespeare was pleased that his oldest son was married, but I don't

think Will's mother wanted him to marry so young.Families cost a lot of money, and John Shakespeare was having a lot of money troubles in those days.Times were hard in Henley Street.

Susanna was born the next May.All babies look the same to me,but Will was very pleased with her.

‘Look,Toby, she's got my eyes,’he said happily.‘She's going to be as beautiful as the Queen of Egypt, and as clever as King Solomon.’

‘Oh yes?’I said.‘All parents talk like that about their children.I don't believe a word of it.’

I didn't see much of Will's wife.I knew she didn't like me.To her,I was one of Will's wild friends, who got him into trouble. She came from a very serious,Puritan family.Lots of church-going,and no singing or dancing.

Soon there was another baby on the way,and one evening in February 1585 I hurried round to Henley Street to hear the news. Will's sister,Joan, opened the door, and then Will came running down the stairs.

‘It's two of them!’he said.‘Twins!A girl and a boy.Isn't that wonderful!’

Will had some good friends,Hamnet and Judith Sadler, and he called the twins after them.John Shakespeare was very pleased to have his first grandson, and everyone was happy. For a while.

Will and I still went around together when we could. He was still reading, and writing, and soon I could see a change in him.He was twenty-three now,and he was not happy with his life.

‘Stratford's too small,Toby,’he said.‘Too slow.Too quiet.Too boring.I've got to get away.’

‘Yes,but how?’I asked.‘You've got a family—three young children,remember.’

He didn't answer.

In the summer months companies of players often came to small towns, and in 1587 five different companies came. Will and I always went to see the plays. Will loved to talk to the actors and to listen to all their stories of London

The Queen's Men came to Stratford in June, and we went to see the play.I don't remember what it was.I know that I laughed a lot,and that Will said it was a stupid play, with not a word of poetry in it.

‘Why don't you write a play yourself?’I told him.

‘Write a play?’He laughed.‘Anne would never speak to me again.’

I didn't say anything, and Will looked at me and laughed again.

It happened a few months later.I walked into the Shakespeares' kitchen one evening, and there was Anne, with a red, angry face, shouting at the top of her voice.

‘How can you do this to me?And what about the children—’Then she saw me and stopped.

Will was sitting at the table, and looked pleased to see me.‘I've told Anne,’he said quietly,‘that I'm going to live in London.I want to be an actor, and to write plays,if I can.’

‘Plays!’screamed Anne.‘Acting!Actors are dirty, wicked people! They're all thieves and criminals! They drink all day and they never go to church—’

‘Don't be stupid,Anne. You know that's not true.Listen.I'll come home when I can,but I must go to London.I can't do anything in Stratford.’He looked at me across the room.‘Are you coming with me,Toby?’

‘How soon can we start?’I said.ПОМОГИТЕ ПОЖАЛУСТА МНЕ ОЧЕНЬ НУЖЕН ПЕРЕВОД ЕТОГО ТЕКСТА

А Way Out
А French student decided to go to London during his summer vacation. Не thought: "I know English а little and people will understand me."
Once he spent а morning in the British Museum and felt tired and hungry. Не decided to have а cup of tea and some eggs in the nearest restaurant. Не went in and sat down at the table. The waiter came up to him and asked him what he wanted.
The student could not order what he wanted because he didn' t know the English word for "eggs". What to do? Then he noticed а magazine on the table. There was а cockerel on its cover. Не showed the picture to the waiter.
"How do you call this?" - he asked.
“А rooster, sir,” answered the waiter.
“And what do you call а rooster's wife?" was the next questions.
“А hen, sir."
“And what do you call hen' s children?"
"Chickens, sir."
“And what do you call chickens before they are born?"
"Eggs, sir."
"Very well. Now bring me three eggs and а cup of tea, please!"

ing together but a unity of people who support each other in different situation. Anything can happen in this life but i know that the only people who will always love and understand me are my family. Blood is thicker than water. That's why family is much more important to me than friends. Friends can betray you. There are lots of books and films about this. They can envy your success at school and your success with girls and even your cool jeans or a bike can make them feel jealous . It doesn't matter that i don't have many friends. And if i get into trouble, the people i ask for advice are my parents

2 ТЕКСТ - Friends are everything to me. Life isn't worth living without friends. My family... they don't care about me, and frankly speaking , i don't care much about them either. The only things they care about are their jobs and making money. Even my grades at school don't worry them much. Sometimes they ask me about my progress, but I'm never sure if they hear my answer. I would feel absolutely lonely if I did not have friends. We often gather at my place or somewhere else to speak about life, listen to music and have fun. Sometimes we quarrel, but I don't believe that my friends mean to hurt me. Life is cool with them.

3 ТЕКСТ - I think I'm
very lucky. I have a family that loves me and friends I enjoy spending time with. My parents and I are people of different generations, so we don't see the world in the same way. But I know they wish me well and I appreciate their advise. (Though sometimes I ignore it and forget about it) They don't like all of my friends, but they don't just say "no". They try to explain their point of view, and sometimes I find their arguments quite convincing. I agree that not all people you go out with can be called friends. Real friends are very rare and you should sherish them. And if you happen to find them, take care of them, never hurt them and try not to lose them.
