Alexander M. Known for self-sacrificial heroism , when he closed his chest recess German bunker . His feat was widely reported in newspapers, magazines , literature , film, and was stable in the Russian language vyrazheniem.Posle beginning of the Great Patriotic War Sailors repeatedly submits a written request to forward it to the front. In September 1942 he was drafted into the army and began studies at Krasnokholmsk Infantry School ( near Orenburg ) , but in January 1943, together with the students in the school as a volunteer march company went to the Kalinin Front .
